The past has a way of catching up with you and it can turn your life upside down. When you haven't faced things completely, but hover in between, it is easy to fall into a complex of lies and half truths.

In the first book we discovered the lives of three young people. Alex, the main character who narrates the story, a gay teenager, who had hidden his real self, until he discovered his best friend, Matty, was also gay. An unexpected encounter with Jake, who is older and more experienced, started Alex on a voyage of self discovery.
The second book is a dramatic adventure, a turning point in their relationship. They encounter new people and life sort of hits them in the face.
The characters are established in the first book and the second book moves things forward with confrontation and drama. The story continues here, resolving some of the questions and posing a few more.
