Extremely well written,  fast paced, with many plot twists. All of the Carter stories are great, but this is perhaps the best! Topher Lydon is rapidly becoming a legend among modern writers.   The character development of Will, Andrew, Peter and the rest makes you feel that you know them and are right there.

I thoroughly enjoy reading each one and can't wait for the next installment!

Life deems never to be peaceful or uneventful for Will, Andrew or Peter. Set 3 weeks before their marriage, Andrew sees a man commit suicide by jumping before a subway train. This surprising act connects Andrew to Will's decision to run for the Liberal Party leadership against Julian Dufresne who is a smooth, charismatic, dark money funded opponent who employs killer mercenaries. People die along the way. Andrew is taken to Iraq who links up with Captain West Harding to win battles. Peter tags along and West proposes to him.

Will knows Dufresne is corrupt and could ruin his party and his country. He takes on a last minute fools run to stop him. What really is Will's plan and does he succeed? He might destroy his reputation and his political future? Does the marriage ceremony go ahead and are the two united in love or broken apart for now?

This is another amazing instalment in the Carter series.

Andrew and Will are three weeks away from there wedding, with Peter being there wedding planner.

But nothing goes smoothly for the Carters.

Let's throw in corrupt police, war zones, murder, conservative fixer, dirty politicians, lots of money and the Liberal Leader contest.

Stir it all up and you have an amazing story, give it a read.

You will not be disappointed.
