Walking on the Path of Life - 3. Falling Angel
Falling Angel
Did you ever hear the tale of the falling angel?
Somehow aware and not aware of the rushing ground
It spent years forever in purity
But to the damned lonely earth, this soul was bound
Hell was born before, but rebellion it could have been
but what led to this tragedy of a falling soul?
Many toss it away as the typical stuff,
That old sex, drugs.... and rock and roll.
Teardrops wept as the lost one stood,
Lost in a world of muggers and whores
Regretting every decision, but carrying on
They would cry inside, but scream out for more
Tainted, never to regain its place
Almost pleased by the way it fell
All we can ever really do is wait
For that falling angel, must save itself.
