Reminiscing About the Future 2. New York Anthology Stories
In 1972, Jeff attended a summer science program, where he fell in love. Now, nearly fifty years later, he's a distinguished astrophysicist with a Nobel Prize and an extensive lecture circuit. Imagine his surprise when he gives a talk at Stuyvesant High School in New York, and is asked a question by a boy in the audience who looks exactly like his first love.
This story is based on characters from the New York Holidays series of short stories and novellas by the author. Although the reader may wish to read the stories in the series for background, Reminiscing About the Future stands on its own. There are references to gay sex including sex between underage boys in the story. Obviously, anyone uncomfortable with these themes should not be reading it, and it’s the reader’s responsibility to ensure the legality of reading such material where they live. Some of the locations described are real locations, and some of the characters and organizations described may bear a strong resemblance to real individuals and organizations; however, this is a fictional story and should be taken as such
