One of my favourite short stories.

As told through the eyes of an innocent youth, trying to make sense of the world by putting a positive spin on all of the harsh lessons, that life has to teach him.

There's a real anxiety and tension created from our being in the position of a helpless observer and being incapable of reaching out, to share our worldly wisdom.

Spoiler

Sadly, there's a world of pain awaiting Keegan from the Hunters that prowl around and a realisation, that regrettably, many lessons in life, have to be learnt the hard way.
