I find myself, once again, deeply in love with fictional characters. You really have to meet them.

Calling this a coming-of-age story feels like treating it too lightly. This is a story of self-discovery and the revelations are not limited to just a single character. So much beauty, so much growth, so much…love.

A broken home is replaced by a stable one. An introvert meets an extrovert. A key holder comes across a gate keeper he didn’t know he needed.

Confidence is key. Our protagonist finds the key to his future in a most delightful way.

I shed some tears of joy because joy and acceptance are at the heart of this deeply moving tale.

Now turn to page one. You’ll be glad you did.
