Sonic - 1. Sonic

Sonic

This story was worth the wait.
I’ll tell you about a matter I’m beginning to worry about.
There’s a bit of randomness added to it,
But the only thing you will have missed
Is the experience of mellowing out your overnights
With the smoothest blend of obsession.

I moved into my dream home, but soon found out I’m not alone.
I sneaked up to my bedroom and waited for it to get dark.
Then the whispers started, like a beautiful sonic lazy river,
And my sanity began to slowly unravel.
The whispers admitted that there was nothing to fear
From those elements that bring back memories of past sins.

It’s part of my personal story.
I hold my truth so purely.
I don't own anything. Wish I did.
When I do feel alone and there is no one around,
I would love to start building a battle
Icy, darcy and stormy.

I love your pieces. They really hang together. Uncanny, strange. The method really works for you. Thanks for sharing.

This is the second time I've read one of your flarf poems. They are so different and completely unique. They stick to the subject but in the most unusual of ways.

A hint of strangeness, a touch of doubt.

A sense of mystery, a answer to nowt.

Short and intriguing Delores.

This poem is awesome. I can't say I understood the last verse but the middle one I interpreted as the protagonist fading away into schizophrenia. Great stuff! I love these types of poems that you write. Also, "darcy?" What an interesting collection of words!
