Poetry (Short's) - 5. Chapter 5 Drops of Pain

Pleas let me know what you think i would love to know...
Drops of pain rain

upon a world of hate and lies as

I lift my face stricken with grief

and cry out into the

night as cold as ice rain.

Where is my hero to

save me from this pain of hate?

Where is the love in this world?

Yet all that comes in answer

to my call in the dead cold

of night are cries of hate

and terror screeching into life

across a world forgotten by love.

The cries draw ever closer

and closer still deafening

in the blizzard of rising hate

and I cannot run from them

the thoughts and memories

freeze me in my tracks

killing any chance of escape

overcome by the cold and terror

I cannot hide for drops of pain

rain freezing me where I stand.

Please save me

the last cry rings into life as those

whose hearts are forged by hate

and lies descend upon me

and my last sighs fill the night

as the cold loses its bite forever

and cries of hateful glee become

the last blow as the last breathe

leaves me.
