2015 poems - 1. Esperanza

The white snow shines, with pure light;
we hold hands under an old oak tree.
We unite lips to create ecstasy.
A tear falls down my face;
you smile and brush it away.
You hold me tight, you sooth my pain,
thank you for your love! It's like rain on us;
it blesses me and you and is encompassed
in the hearts of benevolent men. A man like you,
who would love me just the way I am. My fears,
my pain, my shame. My love, my joy, my all.
My everything.

Esperanza means Hope. After reading your poem I do hope that the feeling lasts
Thanks, the poem wasn't made a specific situation, but like its title says hope. So I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
