2015 poems - 5. For what we all long

"Some days will be hard my love,
Others more awe inspiring in their majesty, than the stars shooting across the inky black glass."
In that moment the man turned to look into the face of Parker. Tears, filled his eyes on that cold mid-western night.
But nothing to both of them had never been more solemn, more resplendent with joy, than this moment they here shared.
In a way, after all the years they'd spent, searching, working, dreaming, living. It had finally found them, both at the same place. In-a ole ford pick-up, they had seen the love, for which we all long.
