Family embrace - 5. Unwavering Faith

Warning: this poem does talk about faith in God.

Unwavering Faith

I lift my voice through storms and flames, Not for fame nor for glory’s claim- But for the One who calms my soul, The Lamb the King, who made me whole and safe.

When shadows fall and hope is just a trickle, I look to Calv’ry’s crimson sky.

The nails, the thorns, the crown of grace- All find me kneeling, face to face, Crying out save me, God.

I believe in the Father’s boundless love, In Jesus- truth, the way, the life. And by the Spirit’s holy flame, My heart ignites in Heaven’s name.

Through trials fierce and tempter’s lie, My soul stands firm, my spirit cries: You are my refuge, Lord of Peace, My song in battle, sweet release.

So here I stand, through wind and flood- My feet held fast by sacred blood. No fear shall break no doubt shall move This holy fire, this endless love That dwells in me.

I came up with this poem from a statement that I believe in which is this I believe in the Father I believe in the Son and I believe in the holy Spirit. That's 3 in one.
