Family embrace - 7. chapter 8 Unwavering Love at Calv'ary's Hill, revised

this is the final version of the poem/song warning once again for talking about God.

Unwavering Love at Calv'ary's Hill,

by Brandon Jean

I pray to you, Lord- not only that these words move your heart, but that the Holy Spirit would speak through these words. Let my, words be true and pleasing to you, God.

I lift my voice through storms and flames, not for fame nor glory's claim- But for the Refiner, who calms my soul and mends my broken heart, The Lamb, the King, who made me whole and safe once again.

When shadows fall and hope is just a trickle, I look to Calv'ary's crimson sky. The nails, the thorns, the crown of grace- All find me kneeling face to face, I cry out, Save me, God.

Unwavering faith through trial and night, You are my strength and my guiding compass, NO Chain can bind, NO storm can steal, This Holy fire, this love so real.

Through trial fierce and tempter's lie, My soul stands firm, my spirit cries...

Unwavering faith through trial and night, You are my strength and my guiding compass, NO chain can bind, NO storm can steal, This Holy fire, this love so real.
I may break, I may stumble, but know this Lord, my unwavering faith and love is real. And they will never end.

Even on Calv'ary's Hill faith did not falter, it wept, it bled, but it held on.

As you whisper, through the wreckage that is my heart Lord, your whispering voice leads me on a road out of the valley- And this road leads from Calv'ary's Hill, and it ends in your OPEN ARMS.

This is my testimony about how my faith is Unwavering even through the storms I have had in my life. Like losing my older brother when he was 32 turning 33. Or watching my mom slowly pass away. Or watching my mom fight for every breath she took.
