Doctor Carlo and Brandon - Prologue. Prologue

Carlo Marini majored in pre-med, went on to medical school and became a psychiatrist. His specialty was child psychiatry, but he accepted adult LGBTQIA+ patients as well. He and his high school boyfriend Brandon Gordon had wed, fostered, then adopted two children who came from broken homes and were ostracized by their parents for performing homosexual experimentation. More like total parental stupidity on the parents' part, but both sets of parents gave them up for adoption at eight and nine because they were simply unable and unwilling to care for them any longer. They were all looking for an excuse to get out of parenthood. Apparently, drugs were more important than their children. Billy and Carla finally got the love they deserved. They've been with Carlo and Brandon for nearly two years now. Troubles arise, and Carlo would now need the love of his family more than ever.

You like hearing things creak, groan and make strange noises? Buy an old house, or age with a spouse and those sounds (aches and pains) will arrive before you know it.

This is an ominous prologue, that foreshadows what? Other than a propensity for ...

Ominous starts fast, I don't think it leaves too quickly.
