It was much more then hate or dislike. It was a slow boiling of disgust that showed in my eyes and made the person in front of me balk. Smirking, I let it boil and writhe in my heart as I started at the bastard who had trapped me in such a way that it was nearly impossible to escape.
Like I said, it was much more then hate or dislike. It was contempt for the low life form that I called husband.

The beat moves through me, making my heart thump and pound in time. Moving my body, I forget about the world around me. I dance in time with the drums…the guitars…the beat that pounds out of the speakers.
I lose myself to the beat, forgetting about the world around me. I float away on a river of sound and feeling.

It’s supposed to be strong. The strongest emotion out there in fact, next to love. Unbreakable, unwavering, forever there binding two people together.

It’s nothing more then a lie to me. A pretty word with no true meaning behind it.

I know that to many others, it means something, but to me, loyalty is an impossible dream that I won’t hope to get.
