The Arcana Archives of Carmi'Esis - 5. A Dance in the Moonlight

This is a tribute for those who are still hiding in the closet about their sexuality.

Helli’ah Azrakh
A Druidess from Teutesus
Forest of Azir’daih

How beautiful are the feet of yours,
entwined under the rooted trees of old,
you wish to dance in the great outdoors,
but you have been given a plain blindfold.
It could only be finished by eternal wars,
and the cost of victory was to be bold,
yet you just end up on the bloody shores,
for this isn’t what their prophecy foretold.

All you just want is to fall into a passion,
and to entice another into a lustful dance,
your other looks at you with such compassion,
as you fall together under the lovers’ trance.
And it was labeled as demonic attraction,
so you fall out of love’s devoted glance,
looking for the heart’s greatest distraction,
then fight and fall with a beat up stance.

Friend or foe, you’ve lost all your sense,
you want to take back what’s rightful for you,
for the sake of theirs, you are the expense,
yet you toil all you can so you can pull through.
Forward you must, under the moon’s suspense,
looking for a reason that could turn you anew,
so that you may be able to make a defense,
against the people that you thought you knew.

Realizing that you’re not breathing for them,
you danced immensely against all their belief,
your passion burned towards what is to come,
and you learned to let go of that heavy grief.
You laughed at yourself for being so dumb,
how you were a lousy victim of the social thief,
all those who said that you were such a scum,
for in reality, you’ve always been your own chief.

Your drift towards the horizon of the ocean,
never looking back to that ill-forsaken cage,
but always be thankful for that challenging motion,
it gave you growth and the wisdom of a sage.
Often be careful of your raw, daring emotion,
for such strong weapon also has a costly wage,
now don’t ever forget a self-less devotion,
so that it will ready you for the greatest stage.

Beautiful Solus. Shows the struggle and hope. In love which should not be seen different to any other. Really like the uniqueness in the way you present these pieces. Gives them something special to only you.

Thank you, jp. Some days, you just want to cry out grief. But there are some days that you want to speak hope to the lives of others, especially those who are in dark places right now. Kudos to them for fighting amidst all the challenges of life. :)

Very beautiful indeed. Your words are a cool draft of encouragement to those who thirst in a dark desert country.

Thank you. I hope that this will be able to touch and tickle their hearts. :)
