Cyn's Poetry Collection - 2. Web of Confusion

Web of Confusion:

There’s nowhere to run…
Nowhere to hide…
In my head,
A web of confusion has been spun.
Down one of the silky white vines I slide,
And I wonder where I’m being led,
Because there’s nowhere to run...
And nowhere to hide...
Somewhere deep within this web lies all the answers,
But until a light shows me the way, there’s nowhere to run...
And nowhere to hide...
This web of confusion kills me like a cancer...
And from it, there’s nowhere to run,
And nowhere to hide...
Until I rid myself of this web of confusion,
My life will continue becoming undone.
These silky white vines I must ride
Until I rid myself of this illusion.
I close my eyes for a single moment under the sun
As these delusional thoughts prance through my mind at full stride.
I ease my eyes open again,
And now there’s reason to run,
And no reason to hide.
