In the aftermath of Lucere, the worst seems to be over. However, the apparent calm is deceptive: Shay Andersen is sought by many forces -- both human and alien -- who wish to either control, embrace or destroy his power. This collision of fate will mark the ending of an ancient chain of events that will test his will to the limits.

Veil of Shadow is a sequel, the second book in the series. The plot in it will make little sense without reading Hidden Sunlight first. If you are a first time reader, please begin there!

A perfect story so beautifully written and thought out I just loved it! With clear description and perfect dialogue! I believe that if you read this story, you will love it as much as I do, see if I am wrong but I am not!

This is the exciting and complex second installment of this space trilogy.  Our battlegrounds shift from Lucere to earth and space.  We meet new characters and villains and watch our favorite three heroes grow into people they never imagined they would be.  I'm very excited that I found these stories now that the third part is in process!

The characters we already love, plus new characters who quickly become endearing to you. Veil of Shadows is an excellent follow-up book to Hidden Sunshine.
