Young Words From An Old Heart - 5. Chapter 5: Fool

Fool

by Bugeye

Frail shelter

Of arms

All you have to do is look

Wrapped tighter

I am trying

Twisted seduction

Fragile haven

Of embrace

All you have to do is reach

Don’t ever go

I am crying

Failed escape

Friable sanctuary

Of a face

All you have to do is smile

Hidden

I am prying

Secret locks

Opposite

Opposing

Opponent

Fickle bond

Of trust

All you have to do is find

Just

One

Hand

Holding

One

Hand

I am vying

Stolen conquest

Fond recall

Of lost

Foolishness

This is all you have to do

First kiss

Again

That flirt trifle

A flick of discontent

Fabled folly frolic

Hearing facetious your remark

Finding touching fondle

Flounce

Confident cocky corporal

Finish and start

Facet

Endless turning

Trumps truth

And fade the heart

Foolish

A fain wish

Here

Affection wrapped in silence

All you need to do is feel

Faith resides

There

All you need to do is fall

Without fault

Fool

Hard now

I’m dying

I must say I wasn't following the stream of consciousness of this one.

As you have always said, I actually don't understand your poems.

Maybe I don't, but I like them anyways.

It is meant to stir emotion. Like a gesture or a touch can. Do you need to understand?
