Apart

Miles apart

And

Years apart

Apart thru

A life of time

Experience adrift

A life yet to live and

A life bound to remember

As future passes

As past returns

Sweet fate flounders

Twists

To birth

But now

How

But a moment

Of joy

Can meld

Reason and

Purpose with

Right and

Wrong to

Balance against

Indifference and

Entropy

To create

Existence

That echoes and ripples

With each orgasm

That a lover

Brings

Or

Gives

Just

A part of all

Just

No part of any

Limits the unlimited

Pleasure of together

It is apart

That recalls

The joining

It is contact

That dissolves

Distance

Apart is yearning

Apart never ends

Apart deepens

Apart...

Apart...

Apart

But that was

The decision
