Eloquence From the Heart - 1. American Pride

This poem is the first i ever wrote, and it means a lot to me. It is what truely opened up my mind's eye and got me interested in writing.

American Pride

In honor of September 11, 2001

Keep our falcons flying high

Keep our eagles in the sky

Keep our freedom soaring proud

Like those birds above the clouds

Keep our families standing strong

Like those buildings, All Day Long

Keep our freedom Strong and Proud

Always say it way out loud

I Love the USA

And I will keep it that way

For I am an American

And I am proud of it
