Talen is a Prince who doesn't want the crown nor his betrothed. Yet within him a power is hidden and will soon drag him toward his destiny whether he wants it or not. Mattias is an angry Zealot looking at this as his chance to enslave an entire kingdom. Beyond the furthest kingdom lies the Shattered Lands and the answer to Talen's prayers of escape. Will it lead to his salvation? His Destruction? Or both?
This story has a very dark tone. There will be frequent violence and occasional bloodshed. Not a story for the faint hearted. After the first few chapters the violence of the story should settle down a bit, but will never be completely gone from the story.
