Private Elliot is a bugler in the Queen's army, conscripted to help put down a rebellion of cats. Private Adya is an Ythin neko far from home, doing what he can to save lives.
Both are flung head first into a war neither signed up for. Facing each other down over a stretch of murderous land, it will take a miracle for them to survive.
This is just a warm up, a way for me to dive into the events of the Neko Rebellion. I cannot promise a steady posting schedule or that this story will be completed, but I hope everyone can enjoy it for what it is, a look into one of the worst wars in Astaran history, as told from the ground.
