So, why the heck did I give you these random prompts? I helped my nephew to draw all kinds of alien species, that’s why. And because there has always to be a second prompt, I used the next sentence someone said to me as a first line. Val thought I have to explain my randomness. Prompt #89 The newest spaceship is ready to leave the space yard when the main engineer gets a last-minute order: He has to modify the captain’s chair. Due to the new captain’s species, he wouldn’t be able to use the old one comfortably. Explain. Prompt #90 First line: “That’s not my package!”

Welcome to March. Okay, so it is a few days in, but it is the first Friday of the month. So it is also a month for the Irish with St. Patrick's Day here in the United States, which reminds me that it is time for new prompts. Prompt 822 - Creative Tag - First Line "What on earth are you wearing?" Prompt 823 - Creative Tag - Promises Your grandmother always warned you not to make promises you couldn't keep. However, you never thought she was being serious. Until you met the odd neighbor when you moved your new home. He invited you over for a dinner but you made an excuse not to go. After finding an excuse each time he tried to get you over, you figured you would simply placate him. "I promise I'll be at your next event." He smiled and shook your hand. "Make sure you do," was all he said. When it came up, you found every reason not to go, but you suddenly find yourself compelled to go. You spot a letter left on your door that simply reads "Promises must be kept!" What happens and what did your promise make you do? So that is the new prompts I have for you. Either one catch your attention? Feel free to write your story and post it in the prompt forum. Until next time. Remember to read, write, comment, and like. First there was there was the accident, where someone totaled your car, but they drove off afterwards and your insurance wouldn't pay for the hit and run. Then there was the hospital bill from your fall where you broke your arm. You have insurance but considering it is only February you hadn't begun to meet your deductible and now had $3000 you owed. Finally, your job announced budget cuts and your hours at work were cut. With bills piling up you're forced to take drastic actions. How do you solve your money woes? Prompt 819 - Creative Tag - First Line "Just you wait 'cause my revenge will be epic!" Hopefully someone will take up the challenge and go write a new tale. Is it me, or is this month just flying by? Here we are at another Friday and hopefully things go well. I do apologize. Last week was a mess of mistakes. Prompt 808 - Creative Tag - Partners You were paired up to solve the murder of the little fairy. Someone must have gotten a laugh out of putting the male tree nymph and the young cleric together as partners. Now you have to solve the crime before the fairy's body fades away. What happened?
