This is book 2 in the annals of Stephen Zamora and Michael Inness, begun in ‘Love Truly Is Blind.’

It will pick up with the young lovers graduating from junior high school. Also along for the ride will be Stephen’s brother Leon, Michael’s brother Jeff, and a select few of their friends. And enemies?

Hellbenders are a species of salamanders. While primarily amphibious, they do occasionally venture onto land. Their numbers are dwindling. It would seem that one population of them have discovered a method to survive in smaller numbers.

The crayfish are happy they’re no longer the hellbender's primary food.

This continuation of the story that began as “The Last Boys In Clinton” follows George, Lionel, and Lorenzo to Clinton, Tennessee, a suburb of Knoxville.

It will also cover the futures of some of the other major characters from that story.
