I am tempted to post this in the Lounge, but fear it would get political due to the nature of gun issues in America. I am tempted to debate gun control in the pit, but I don't want to dishonor those who have just lost their lives by using them as talking po
I realized while answering Method's blog that I never told you guys the story of last Winter's guests. Last year during the worst Blizzard in the history of New England, I let two homeless guys stay in my house. The first question in your mind maybe, Is WL crazy? Then, the second question, Were they hot?
To answer your questions, No, I am quite sane if a bit soft hearted. As for hotness, one was around my age with a cute/shy demeanor and another was in his 50's who kept saying thank you eve
After finishing the 1st half, I just realized how much other writers have influenced me, in particular two on GA.
C James, you are the most fun technical guy I have ever had the chance to read. Your nuclear thrillers and your serial novel "Circumnavigation" inspired me to create CBDT: Cyber Bullying Defense Team. In terms of themes, we're similar, but different in terms of our style and genre environment, but I consider you as a primary inspiration. I also think the idea of a long serial nov
Well, the first 2 chapters are pretty tame, they are harmless in terms of sexual content, but Chapter 3 will start a new trend for me. I know I am not one of the most well known writers for mature content, nor is this story meant to be completely mature, but I think by the end of the 1st half with Chapter 12, you will see that I have changed as a writer.
Sex for my characters follows patterns of need, patterns of release. There is revelation to be found in sex, ideas are expressed about Homo
Since we have a Soapbox now for controversial political issues, I will only use my Blog for literary stuff and reviews, along with announcement for Cyber-Bullying Defense Team related story material, once I publish on October 23rd 2015.
So let's start with a topic that writers and readers have debated internally and vocally (at least in the past): What are the rules for sex? How old should your characters be if they form relationships or have sex in stories? What is the line between a story
I know, we're still a month away from my official launch date, but I wanted to talk about why I wrote this story and some things that I just fel strongly about.
In 2012, I had this idea to create a story involving teams of hackers competing against each other in a secret war of information. I didn't think I was computer savvy enough to write it, so I left it off on my shelf for 3 years.
I recently read an article about Cyber bullying and its affect on Gay teens, which got me into plottin
Damn it!
I was getting cleaned up and writing again, now I just got my first taste of Crack, Political Crack
I need to remember unlike years before I have a young story to think about; he's not even 1 chapter old yet; I can't just abandon him for a quick political score during the primaries.
Still, it is so much fun to debate, fight over views about everything from the role of government to the role of a parking ban against non-residents. Political debate is addictive; it's like sex
Cynus' Ashes of Fate Episode 2

He meets up with a ragtag band people, which include humans and Were-creatures alike. They board an aircraft and head to some unidentified hospital facility, where Tristan sees some hidden memories
Review: Good stuff and bad stuff abound in Episode 2,
The Good is that we get to see that the Wer are not the only one wit
Alright, this is my first GA story review in a while, I have my own set of review structure that is slightly different than Renee's outline for GA, but not incompatible.
Let's start with Cynus' Ashes of Fate
Ashes of Fate Episode 1, Season 1
Plot Summary: We meet Tristan the protagonist of this story with a mild amnesiac episode at the beginning of the chapter, where he does not recognize who he is and where he is. The chapter unfolds with Tristan recalling his life and references hi

I've been arguing back and forth, even trying to offer some one else a chance at writing this story, but I have decided to finally take the plunge and write this new story. I had come up with the concept 3 years ago, but I kept shelving it until now.
The plot of the story centers around a mass act of Coordinated Cyber Bullying attacks on Gay teens. LGBT leaders and advocates are unable to do anything to fight this new threat as ad campaigns, youtube videos, and marches prove ineffective. The
Sometimes Tragedy makes us stronger people,

Alright, this is how my 4 part review will work on Jeff Allen's Carterville-Adam State stories. I will use a formal format for these stories, because I believe Jeff deserves something more than my usual blurbs.
The reviews will follow the format:

As for how I am reviewing and splitting out the reviews, here's my schedule:
Part 1: When Love Comes (9/6/2015) Part 2: Love of a Lifetime (9/7
As I start my long weekend of reading and writing due to the labor day holiday, I've hit upon something I should have done a long time ago, but I feel like I never could do, I want to say "I'm sorry".
Confession is good for the soul and after thinking things over, I've got to confess my soul:
As an author, I've been at GA for many years without a single great hit or an ugly negative story, as a gay man I have been out for 4 years without having a stable relationship for more than 3 month
Alright, one political post a week
An issue was raised about the use of Spanish in communication versus using English, which is the majority language of the US currently. It's a really provocative question about language and people.
I do believe that an official language in some countries are necessary to create a cultural identity. It's a good idea for nations that want to establish some kind of hegemony over customs and standards. For the United States, it's a little more complicated.
Well I took a slight break tonight from marathon reading and writing to watch some TV, or more precisely catch up on some TV. I don't know how many of you watched Hannibal, but it really is a provocative TV drama centering around Hannibal Lecter, America's favorite Cannibal. I finished the final season today and had several thoughts about this version of Hannibal and Will Graham.
Yes, they are most definitely a messed up gay couple, but in a weird horror movie way, Hannibal makes sense as he
I just started re-reading one of my earliest bookmarks from Cryboy.org. As I read Jeff Allen's story "When Love Comes" part of his trilogy of stories, I realized why I started down the path of reading gay fiction and I can even now pinpoint something else, the balance of an erotic story and a gay fiction story. I will do an in-depth review on these three classic gems in a few weeks after I am done with the over 100 chapters, but for now, I just want to share something I rediscovered.
Like it
I am going through a camping fetish stage right now, so bear with me as I dig through my old story bookmarks. I don't know why I feel like digging up the past, but there's just something interesting and reminiscent about reading old stories I used to like.
So let's review this story: http://www.nifty.org/nifty/gay/highschool/wilderness-survival/
To start off, I thought The Journey by Sunshine boy was dated, but pleasant and capable of being updated if the writer ever returns. This story
I am avid reader, but not always bound by GA's collection of talented writers
Today, I am going to review an oldie that I fished out of my bookmarks from years ago. It's a short story that can be read in one day if you feel like it, despite being split into 20 chapters. I never met this author during his time, but I do appreciate a nice reading.

To start off, how much is love worth to you? I don't know about you guys, but $1500.00 sound
Time to watch some movies and I pick the 2014 Brazilian film "The Way He Looks"; ironically, the movie is about a gay blind boy, like I could relate to that
Sometimes, I feel like a unicorn, being both gay and legally blind (I am fully blind in my left eye and have 20/300 distance with 20/70 reading in my right eye). It's a rare subject and it's a rare concept. To me, this subject is extremely interesting and important. Through boyfriends and hook ups, one thing I learned about modern gay
One More Political Observation, I really am trying to get away from this, but for some reason; I keep getting pulled in by how ridiculous this stuff is getting.
Also for the people who keep saying wait it's only summer, this is not too early to speak politics or candidates; remember Citizens United ruling has made the idea of a honeymoon moot in politics. As long as you have one major Super PAC left, you are always running. It's an ugly concept and I think older Republicans and Democrats don

Loyalty Oaths? What the hell is wrong with these guys? This is not the People's Republic of the United States, we don't need to pledge unconditional loyalty ot a political party in order to make our way in life.
I don't like Trump, I made that extremely clear, but this is stupid and is only causing the rifts within the GOP to grow bigger. He's got no real ch
