Ghostboy Aka Cj

Can anyone tell me what happened to Chris?

And someone has now answered my question. So I have a few things to say.

Chris is someone I met, what is now, years ago. He has a strong mid-western stubbornness, but also a heart that allows him to bend a little from his held beliefs. He is a contradiction of beliefs, but that was because of his bending for his heart. He is a human being first, before anything else. He isn't much for labels and that quickly gained my respect, since I don't believe in labels or sub-grouping people either.

Chris is smart, much smarter than his cornfield look. He's smart enough to skip college and go directly to work in a highly competitive field. I questioned his decision not to attend college, but I came to understand he is one that didn't need college. He is also very self-assured; which can come off as cocky. Nor does he suffer fools lightly. I think I'm at fault for making him more out-spoken and sharing his opinions widely.

He has left GA, I think on his own accord. I know he felt like he wasn't wanted around by some and he can be blunt, but I never felt it was ever meant to be mean, unless he was attacked.

As a member of GA, he was my security blanket. Actually, I love him and will miss his happy status and quotes.

I love my :boy: Christopher

One final note. Yes, Chris could be difficult to deal with at times, but the pluses way outweighed the negatives.

I think you summed it up fairly well.  I also think Chris needed GA as an outlet and I hope he finds some other venue to express himself and make some connections.  I too will miss him being around.

I do as well. I will attempt to reach out to him and see how he is. He only came here because me, so I feel somewhat responsible.

I always read his status updates, and responded a few times. I didn't really know him, and sometimes I didn't know what to think of some of the things he said, but I appreciated him as a member of our community. I could tell that there was a lot of depth to the young man, and I figured he was working some things out. I wish him well.

Like Gary, I din't know him all that well, but from what I gathered over the months I have been an active member of the community is how insightful Chris is :) His statuses always brought a smile to my face, I especially enjoyed it when he posted his quotes :D

One moment stands out for me :) Chris was a very active member in the Games and Humor and in my more earlier forays into one of the games I had made a mistake. So, I edited my post to apologize and disregard my post. Well, Chris soon responded with "Well don't stop playing!" I found that so encouraging and I continued and I got a hang of it soon after. It is now one of my favorite games in that Forum ^_^

I've spoken with Chris, well, I received an e-mail from him and I now know more of the story.

He is well.

I get attached to you guys and when you vanish mysteriously it worries me.

I admired CJ or Ghostboy. He had his head on right. I hate to see him go.

I'm glad to hear that he's OK. Thanks Billy.

Didn't know him too well, but he seemed like a nice guy overall.

We all have our quirks and sometimes come off badly to different people, it smooths out over time.

Will miss him,

It is a pity such voices go silent here. They challenge and stimulate our authoring community. It is chilling that such challenges are met with such concern on the Internet.
