Freddie Mercury, lead singer of Queen, sashayed about the save as he sang.

For those that haven't heard him sing... or want to seen some sashay action...

From the French chassè. If you struggle pronouncing it, modify it.

Funny you would mention Freddie Mercury. I answered this question on Reddit the other day: What's your favorite pop/rock song written for a movie?

I don't often post on Reddit. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Except perhaps for twattter. I'm beginning to call it NatSocMedia since the Feds seem to be running the whole show.

Queen's Who Wants to Live Forever, written for Highlander (1986) is especially poignant for me.
This song has a sting in its tail for many members of my generation. Freddie Mercury, frontman for Queen, died of AIDS in 1991. The same damned illness took the love of my life in 1996. Who wants to live forever, indeed.
No one got out of that nightmare unscathed. Survivor's guilt sucks.

If you read or watch old westerns, they often talk about the saloon girls sashaying around to attract business.  I'll let you decide if it was business for the bar, such as getting the men to stay longer and drink more, or business of a more personal nature.

Decide?

When Gunsmo ke was on the radio, Miss Kitty was a madame operating a saloon and whore house. Miss Kitty herself was a former prostitute Matt had first met in New Orleans. There were still hints in early episodes of the TV show before they were purged from later episodes to make it more family friendly.
