Hmmm, I can think of another type of ejecta, other than due to volcanic activity.  

For some reason, when I saw this I immediately thought of perfecta, which is a term I would use to describe the type of ejecta I mentioned above.  😈  😉

I lived 75 miles from said mountain when it blew its top.  So I can honestly say I much prefer @Bill W's concept.  Although both definitions are smoking hot, Bill's is safer and more satisfying. 😄

I agree with and approve of your logic.  

All elements heavier than iron form in supernova ejecta in a process called fast and slow neutron capture. Neutron decay continues through deep-time until the nuclei are in a long-term stable configuration. Unstable isotopes in nature are still trying to reach this equilibrium.
