Foster Brooks jolly drunkard routine was hilarious back in the 70s. Real drunks may occasionally do something funny, but for the most part, they're sad, difficult people.

Many drunkards are often mean and ready for a good argument or fight.

Now Jackie Gleason's onstage "How sweet it is" coffee mug contained pure scotch.
