I like a good cider, the problem is… I don’t find most of them good. However, I was out for my class reunion the other weekend and had a strawberry cider that 🤤. Same company had a pineapple peach cider that was also drunk worthy.

Oregon does some good ass ciders.

This is the perfect time to have 'cider' as the word of the day, since the fall is generally considered prime cider time, and don't forget about 'hard cider'.  There's nothing better than having a good cider and donuts/doughnuts for a fall break or on Halloween.  It helps to remind me of my childhood, many eons ago.

To each their own, but there are some I'll take a pass on.

Hard ciders were popular in the early American colonies because they were cheap and easy to make. You could easily raise the alcohol content even more in the winter by letting it freeze and separating the higher alcohol content liquid from the ice, creating Applejack. The downside of this process is it leaves byproducts like methanol and fusel oils removed by heat distillation. This results in enormous hangovers for those who overindulge; think of the worst hangover you ever had and multiply by three. Colonists coined a phrase for this condition, the apple palsy.
