I'd never heard of this word before and I doubt if I'd ever use it.  I'm afraid people would confuse it as another word for vomiting.  Either that or think my enunciation was off when I was trying to say cheer up.  

It is hard to sleep late when blue-jays are raising hell with their noisy chirrup. Add crowing roosters and noisy cicadas, it's impossible.
