I just caught up on your blog. I'm sorry your Christmas and New Year were rough . I also hope your mom is doing better and Sam is well (and taking care of the cat duties like he was supposed to).

That definitely does sound like the beginning of a rough day. Try to fight it though as you mentioned in your previous blog entry everything is connected. I think that often when several little bad things happen it's because they're sorta causing each other and creating a negative self-fulfilling prophesy (I.E. Today's going to suck!). I think that's why good days seem to be so full of random good things too; you have a better attitude and more positive expectations. Anyway fight the bad day lol!!

It's easy to de-kittyfy your keyboard. Set a screensaver with a password and set the turn-on interval to something long enough so you can work without being interrupted. Then go to http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Shell_a...r_Download.html and download Tarsier v1.3; this freeware program will let you enable and disable your screen saver with a single click in the system tray, and start the screen saver immediately with a double-click. Now, when you leave the computer just double-click on the system tray icon and your password protected screen saver will come on. Kitty can sit on the keyboard whenever she/he/it wants and it's unlikely she'll figure out your password and the steps needed to enter it!

One more thing, make sure you don't forget your password!
