Dom, poor baby! Take care of yourself. Claritin over the counter is supposed to be for alergies, but it works for cold symptoms too. Remember, an untreated cold usually hangs on for seven days; with some good medicines, you can be over it in a week. Don't put too much faith in the nature gods.

Scientists are only human and tend to see things in human terms. It's possible, as you say, that aliens are already on the way. They may live 70,000 years rather than 70. They may reproduce in route. A lot of things are possible in non-human terms.

hehehehehe, first, yeah. we ARE arrogant. all you're saying are true. of course if aliens managed to come here they would be VERY advanced for the reasons you stated. & I still think the chances are 50-50. damn humans!

Ziacam - It really does help shorten a cold. Back up plan is a double shot of Jack every four hours. It might not help the cold but always makes me feel better.

I completely agree, Dom. It is ludicrous to say that aliens could never make it Earth. Perhaps they can travel much faster and/or breed in flight. OR perhaps they'd simply have much longer lifespans.

Yeah, we humans seem to be really shortsited, aliens, offworlders, etc.....could they be here ??...Thats why i like the SciFi channel program, StarGate SG1.....using stargates and wormholes....who knows, it could be true...how else did the Pyramids in Egypt get built ?? dont want to get too political here, but thinking of our Iraq problems, talk about shortsited...doesnt anybody think of other possiblities, that these people have been fighting each other for hundreds of years, and we are gonna come in and they will just say YES, great !! .......They have 'think tanks' that are suppose to weigh all options, and nobody planned for this ??.. whats the term...'outside the box'...imagination, creativity...so dont be shocked if some one gives you the Vulcan Spock hand greeting !!!!
