laurie 0 Posted March 12, 2008 Oh Sweetie, I wish I was there to help you. I know it's hard to be a teenager let alone a gay one. You don't need this on top of everything else. I will tell you that when I was pregnant with my son his father left me. I've seen $3.00 out of that man and that was 15 years ago. I don't resent my son. But, I do resent his father. I didn't want a child then and I asked him to use the condom that I had. He didn't and I should have walked away but, I didn't. Now, I have the most wonderful 14 year old boy and I wouldn't trade him for my youth ever. One thing you have to understand too is that your mom didn't get herself pregnant. She was there and took part in half of it. If your dad really wants to get bitter about missing something he shouldn't take it out on you. He too could have used protection. He needs to see what he has before him and what you have accomplished in this short time. If you were my son that would be the best thing in the world. I love being MOM. I might have missed out on some things but, they aren't important. As for Taylor, he will always be hurt. Not that you moved on but, that it is with a girl. He saw the two of you in his future. Now, he doesn't know what to do. He's insecure about things. He wanted things to work out between the two of you. For y'all to get back together. I'm sure if you said something to him like 'Let's talk please.' and the two of you listen to each other it will work out. Be back to friends and maybe someday boyfriends again. I'll always be there for you to talk to and to be the shoulder for your tears. I wish you a better tomorrow. HUGS!!!!!!!! Love, Laurie
