So two boys meet, they get together, and they have lots of loving sex together for the rest of their lives! The end. Close curtain. Welcome applause.

Naturally, as there are more stories out there than we can count, it would be pretty hard to imagine that we couldn't find a wealth of similarities in the many storylines that come along. With the standard concept of 'boy meets boy', how many millions of variations can there be, right?

But there are SOME overused situations that have been forced into so many stories that they have become cliche. The beautiful boy who moves into the house next door. What story cliches are you especially tired of seeing over and over again? And how can an author find new and inventive ways of getting the 'boy to meet boy' without treading on the same old territory again?

Let us know! :)
