Thanks for getting the word out for us Pat.

 

We've got a very talented cast and we're off to a very promising start.

 

Two more authors have joined the crew: Ryan Keith (Kayden) and Tragic Rabbit (The Drama Club).

I'm really enjoying this story. :2thumbs: The round robin concept is new to me (ok, so I live a sheltered life) and it's great! It's a super way to get to know different authors and their work.

 

My favouite chapter was the one by Ryan Keith - chap 9. I want to assure you all, though, that it has nothing to do with the fact that he's Canadian...and the fact that I drool a little every time a new chapter of Kayden is posted. 0:)

 

One question - whose idea was it to name the asshole detective "Conner"? That really sucks. :P A second question, if I may, will Detective Conner get it in the end? :lmao:

That would be me. I created the setting, characters and framework for Collision.

 

Conner got his name from Chuck Conners, the old actor. I thought that the authors would pick up on that but they are writing him like a nasty Columbo.

Columbo, at least, had a sense of humour. Detective Conner will never have his own TV show.

 

Chuck Connors....The Rifleman....what a blast from the past. I seem to recall he was Canadian. :D I mostly remember his son - Luke, was it? :wub: He was a cutie. He and Kurt Russell :wub: who was doing his Wagon Train thing were high on my list as I recall. Geez, I was so gay, even then. :lol:

I have to agree, you did get the worst character in the story assigned your name! :P

 

I guess sharing my nickname with a homophobic main character isn't so bad, 'cause I do see him turning the corner with his attitude by the end of the story. I don't think the same can be said with your namesake!

 

Graeme did a terrific job with this latest chapter (10). If anyone hasn't read the story yet, you should give it a look-see, it's definitely a recommended read.
