Newsweek debunks popular Bible myths; Right angry

Recommended Posts

Newsweek published an article debunking many of the popular Bible myths used to condemn homosexuality and marriage equality. The religious Right promptly launched an email campaign and on the first day, Newsweek's editors were bombarded with 20,000 angry emails. Lisa Miller was interviewed on Sirius XM's "The Agenda".

I got an email from HRC on the matter and the director, Joe Solmonese, is asking people to respond by sending positive emails to Newsweek. I will do it later tonight when I think of something to say.

Also, I received an email from HRC earlier in the week about country singer Pat Boone and his lackeys equating the equality movement to terrorism. I almost threw up at how blatantly ignorant people truly are.
