But of course you have to take the Bible literally, and of course you have to pick just one or two verses to do that with and everybody knows that you have to twist those verses to the meaning you want them to have to fit in with the other idiots who have already done it.

 

 

Thank you for that interesting peep into other cultures. I have actually seen footage of both of the first two festivals. I would have said 'who are we to judge?' if it wasn't for the fact that I do judge the third and others like it. Although, at least in the first two cultures you're honoured for partaking and not villified for not.

Pampanga Easter is a very successful poem. It engages and it fulfils its purpose beautifully.
