Gabriel
Ashton hasn't claimed any wickets yet unfortunately, he will get a chance tomorrow as England are batting. He did break a batting record, the highest ever score by a number 11 batsman in test histroy, 140 years of it and he does it in his first innings. For those who don't know cricket a number 11 is your worst batter, in the team to bowl (I guess pitch would be the best comparison) and bad at batting. A typical number 11 might average under 10 runs each innings, the worst I have seen averaged 2. Ashton scored 98. He is a Victorian, grew up near me but left for Perth. We still see him as one of ours. Looks like he can bowl a maiden over too.

Gabriel
And a few guys ... And welcome Gabriel - hope you have happy times on GA I can imagine. And thank you very much for the welcome A couple extra Ashton Agar facts. - He is half Sri Lankan, his mother came to Aus at the age of 12, his father is Australian anglo. - He is also seriously smart, he was accepted into a combined Arts/Law degree from highschool, that would place him in the top 5 percent of his year level or higher. Just in case he wasn't attractive enough on a purely visual level.
Zombie
Ashton Agar taking his first Test wicket on Friday. As you can see he's being very cool about it. Nope, not at all excited ... The 19 yo newbie saved Australia ... not from defeat, just from humiliating defeat
Zombie
A much better performance from the Aussies on the opening day of the Third Test with their first century and 303 for 3 in the bag after a dismal Second Test at Lords when England blew away the tourists - who looked like this ... while Joe Root, getting his outstanding178 not out, looked like this So come on Aussies make it a proper battle for the best of five

FrenchCanadian
Alright, I don't know anything about cricket, however, that is one fine young player... maybe I should start caring about cricket after all.
