Opinions needed on NUC devices

There is this one NUC that got me interested in it but I didn't compare it to a game console

 

 

The good points

* Oh its cheaper than a HP TouchSmart i7 2TB laptop ($1600 est)

* Its faster than a HP touchsmart I think

* It has a small foot print

* It connects up to two hdmi ports n it has wifi, bluetooth n hardwire internet

 

The bad points

* Its a hot machine machine 135 watts compared to a laptop 65 watts

* 24x7 it will add up to the electric bill and AC bill 

* its not a tablet (-:

 

* I am not sure how it would match up with gaming systems

gosh intel coming out with newer models of the i7 and its taking time for mfr to catch up before having choices to make

Later this year intel should be coming out w 14nm chip that is less power consuming
