So a few weeks ago I posted a quote by Brad Marchand about what would happen if a current player came out. Well it seems the NHL has kept moving forward with progress and given the chance for a player from each team to step up and volunteer as an ambassador to LGBTQ youth, and perhaps even LGBTQ players who hope to lace up the skates in the big leagues. It is with immense pleasure and pride I post the list here. Hopefully you find some of your favorite players, I know I did.

Awesome! He's one of my favorite of the Boys in Blue! The Lightning will be hosting PRIDE Night in a couple of weeks. Would love to go to it, as they are having special GLBT Theme Lightning T-Shirts as part of the Ticket Package.

 

I feel its very promising that the NHL, and the Players Association is Open to GLBT players.

Thats amazing! I hope you can make it! I'm sure it'll be a great experience. IMO this is one of the most inspirational things I've seen in all of sports. 

 

Side note I'm glad you guys have boyle, he was a real pain in the ass as a ranger!
