William King Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 No before you ask it has nothing to do with sex! Below every Avatar image it says NAME, then title Awesome or whatever, then some dots .... representing quantity of postings. I humbly request that those dots get replaced with ACTIVE or NOT ACTIVE or any similar words that tell you which members are active on the site and which members are ghosts. My personal criteria would be absence of logging in for more than one year - last active - renders that member a ghost. Perhaps you could even use the term. Maybe you might like a list of terms describing the period of inactivity? It could go something like this: 3 months since last active FADING 6 months since last active DISAPPEARED 12 months since last activite GHOST What do you think? 1
Emi GS Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 It's not a bad idea. But there are some anonymous members and authors are there who don't come under last active method. The profile would show a date or number of month as their last active status, but they are regularly visiting the site. How are you gonna categorise them!!!? That's one thing that have to be consider. 2
Site Administrator Solution Myr Posted October 12, 2017 Site Administrator Solution Posted October 12, 2017 That is not a built-in capability and we're not really looking to expend our limited resources on creating that (and then maintaining it through updates). We're struggling enough getting the story software updated in a timely manner. 5
