Site Administrator Popular Post Cia Posted January 22, 2019 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted January 22, 2019 The picture says it all! LOL Who's picked a book or story to read thinking it was one thing and found it to be totally different from what you expected? How'd the mistake come about: tags not added, vague description, description didn't really fit the story, you didn't pay any attention to anything but the title...? Did the mistaken read turn out be a good thing or bad thing? Let's not flame anyone, discretion might be key if your story involves a piece of GA fiction that you have a not-so-great experience with in this way. 7
Site Administrator Valkyrie Posted January 22, 2019 Site Administrator Posted January 22, 2019 I'm sure I have, but I can't think of any specifics off the top of my head. 3
Popular Post Arpeggio Posted January 23, 2019 Popular Post Posted January 23, 2019 (edited) Someone gave me a book called Sleeping Beauty, written by Anne Rice. I don't know what I was expecting exactly, but I liked her vampire series, so I cracked it open and BAM, smut everywhere. Lots and lots of smut. I was like, mmkay I'll just skip the smut stuff because I'm just looking for a good story. Didn't happen. It was all smut. I didn't like it. Edited January 23, 2019 by Arpeggio 3 4

I have the same book and had the same reaction when I read it. It wasn't until I started to read it that I understood the look the checkout clerk gave me. 1 4
