    The period-true debate about the religion was very well written! Particularly: "Our love is a sin." followed by: "There is nothing sinful in my feelings for you." The exchange reveals genuine differences between them. Timothy accepts religious doctrine, assumes himself imperfect, struggles with guilt. Oliver rejects the premise entirely, and sees their love as self-evidently good Neither position is caricatured, and the disagreement deepens both characters.

    Owen's overthinking the text convo with Luke is hilarious and on point. His instinct to break off the communication was valid though. Luke is not for him, and is a creepy wolf with a sheep profile.
