  1. It actually does! lol. Thanks.
  2. Wait, still scary in 2024? I think I'm just really bad at getting cultural references today πŸ˜… Thank you for reading. πŸ’›
  3. Ha no. I didn't get them at all. I will be looking those up on YouTube tho
  4. I hope we'll reach the point soon where all of the confusion is replaced by even more entertainment. πŸ’›
  5. Thank you. πŸ˜€πŸ’›
  6. Ouija board?! Everything I wrote so far makes total sense. People just don't see the correct clues πŸ˜› Thank you so much. πŸ’›
  7. They are really beyond the point of no return at this point. And it's all going to be wonderfully exciting. A battle maybe? With untrained people. πŸ’› Thank you for your readership
  8. I'm sure she has much more to say. But they were so rudely interrupted there at the end. Let's hope they all make it out alive! πŸ˜€ Thank you for always being here and reading and commenting! πŸ’›
  9. Isn't that the point of a chapter? Oh it isn't? Oh. πŸ’› Thank you, @drsawzall By the way, shoutout to my dear friend Sammy, who is not registered on here. She does read all of it though and was just let in on the WHOLE STORY. I would like to share her comment after my roughly 622 instant messages: And since she knows everything, I know I'm on the right track πŸ˜›
  10. Many unknowns, but I hope I am placing some answers in there as well. A definite plan on what to do next appears in the next chapter. I think. And what happened at the end there? Thank you for reading and commenting. πŸ’›
  11. Me! Me! Well they did start eating the soup! ??!? I'm just very self-conscious. :i Thank you for your feedback, and for reading πŸ’›
  12. ! Thank you so much. I put a lot of work into those descriptions, because I'm usually so dialog-heavy. I need the few parts that are not dialog to really stand out. Then again, the talk might be over soon... for a bit. And when I made the ancient language, I wanted it to sound very guttural, it has a limited alphabet, lots of consonants, uses a glottal stop, fricatives like s/sh/x. The vowels you can find in Classical Arabic. There is actually gender, and it's not binary, and singular and plural. I write everything in verb-subject-order (VSO). Therefore, it is closest to Afro-Asiatic languages, like ancient Egyptian.
  13. Thank you so much! I'm so glad other people are entertained by the things that lived in my head for so long. πŸ’› I'm wondering what you think is making my approach to magic more European? I mean, I grew up here, but I'd be interested
  14. All your comments made my day I will now go through each, it was a really bad and confusing day at work, but I reacted as quick as I could. Thank you for being here.
  15. And at some point, people will just snap, fly to Germany, and murder me. I hope you remain entertained. πŸ˜… Thank you for reading and commenting. It means a lot. πŸ’š (And to be honest, I can’t continue raising the stakes, can I?)
  16. β€œSoup!” Dave shouted. Being adorable was his thing. As we stepped inside Maio’s home, nestled within the heart of an ancient tree, I was immediately enveloped by a sense of warmth and comfort. It was almost palpable. Inside, the walls curved organically, as if the tree had made space to welcome us in. I went past the threshold and touched the walls. They were smooth to the touch, a blend of wood and something ethereal that I couldn’t quite identify. Soft, ambient light filtered through
  17. πŸ‘ Aw, thank you. One of my biggest worries, there not being an appropriate pace, and too much dialog. πŸ˜… Maio seems to be utterly intrigued. Thank you! πŸ™‚

    Chapter 10

Hmm. Now I don't know where they stand. If there's no sexual attraction and no romance, shouldn't there be friendship? I want their friendship explored. Their interpersonal relationship is hard for me to grasp, and now I sit here wondering what's going to happen. Maybe that's a point in and of itself though. Thank you for posting. 🧑

    Chapter Five: Miles

At first I thought people wouldn't be getting it. But his wolf doesn't know what a capital letter is and he also speaks in italics, so that helped. 😐 Thank you for reading. πŸ’›
  23. I can only answer that like this: Maio can be very blunt and direct. The druids also don't eat hallucinogenic shrooms. I really like Twin Peaks. Thank you for commenting and being here πŸ₯°
  24. AHHHHH thanks There's 6 more chapters to go and more in the works! Your comments are very much appreciated, also critical ones of course. Thanks for staying on the train towards... wherever I'm taking this. lol
