    The training chapter was everything one could expect from it, with pacing on point. Aww. His insecurities are valid, understandable, and very endearing. Mike knows him better than he does himself. At least the path to his heart is very clear to Mike. And he will capture him fully this way. That again, is my true romantic guess, of which I have given many, @lawfulneutralmage 😂 Want another guess? Jamie's abyss will be not trusting Mike soon enough, and Mike distancing himself until he does so. Happy to be proven right or wrong. An excellent chapter!

    Maybe you should ask your wolf …? 🤔😉 I have. I am! Regularly. Grey saw a badly burned (think third to fourth degree burns with 80% TBSA) Dave, and he witnessed Clara unable to help him with her Druidic powers. You wouldn't survive being burned to a crisp. There was no way out. The fact that he healed when they touched each other is another thing. One that the author might have to explore to explain.

The chapter was good, granted, pretty good even, but without the "feel"—at least for me 😉😅 I do appreciate everyone reacting, and reacting differently. Means you're invested in the characters. Yay! ❤️ It was meant to be a an ordeal, but then in the end, they finally found some semblance of peace. A short respite. There's even light streaming into the damn labyrinth. And we're slowly starting to a get direction of what Grey's and Dave's true form might be. Thank you for calling the chapter "pretty good even" 🤭

He has known Mike for three, maybe four months. Would he really share that secret? Would you? I would. Definitely. But I'm a hopeless romantic beyond reason. To the extend of "immediate soulmate". I enjoy the pace of things, so you just keep going ^^

    Thank you for sharing! It sounds wonderful not having to work. I myself just lost my job of almost two decades due to the company I work for filing for bankruptcy. And I am taking all the knowledge I've acquired and am going to start my own tiny company with the best friend I could imagine for the job. 2024 is going to be interesting.

    Exciting! So I'm here first to boast about the fact that I was right about Mwangi. Ha! What I'm completely unsure about is if he's good or bad, and the same goes for Morris-Walker. To someone investigating corruption, anything "strange happening around someone" is already suspicious enough to warrant the things that Mwangi demands of Jamie right now. Personal opinion 😄 ? I'm with Morris-Walker. Same way I would be with Magneto, to take a sort of cultural reference here. Oh and @lawfulneutralmage, I know why Jamie isn't opening up to Mike right away—storytelling opportunities and all—, but I'm violently against it. 😂 Excellent chapter! Post more, thanks!
