All this "perfection waiting for the fall" is really really stressfull.... 😥 🥰
-
Ambien...cocaine...adhd... i forsee tears before bedtime. The Austin / Will scenario was inevitable. Travis; I feel a set up coming. All is going waaaay too smoothly in his world. And as all long-time lurkers in Arbour-world know "smooth" is just the preface to chaos!

I agree that all actions from A to D are likely, I just cannot see how any of that will stop our hero's abilty to get men into his bed..... As far as I can tell the only occaisons our man hasnt been able to slake his lust is mid battle, and that I am sure is only because they have packed up his cabin!

My mind went to Schwarzkopf a brand of hair shampoo....

"The shaving of the crew" should be an interesting scene! Great for our hero to be back in his second home (his first being bed with a handsome man). The task ahead tho' is going to be a challenge, one I am sure our great and wonderful author will make as stimulating as ever!

Two questions: why fly Singapore Airlines ( tho' admittedly they were better then than now) and second flying Singaore airlines trans pac adds 6 hours to the flight; youd have to love flying.... I envy his passage through immigration.... Finally; awesome choice of car, for its time. Thanks.

Your depiction of Kevin who for decades "knew" he was straight despite uncomfortable questions popping up from time to time, but now wonders not only "what if", but "what", and then internalises it as potentially and catastrophically life changing, is very well done. I would say there are many men who "came out" (to themselves and or others) later in life who have been down that route. Then in hindsight, those same men look back and wonder at why the mental anguish; like so many things in life, we try it, we like it and do it more, or we don't and mark that off to experience! It will be interesting to see Kevins developement...

If there's going to be trouble in paradise, may as well head to Australia!

Given others are heaping crap on you, @PrivateTim I thought it only fair.... As this chapter IS "all about him", I'm not sure we can criticise Will for making the story all about him, at least not here and now... 😘

Mr Arbour is SO cruel! As if Austin either breaking off his relationship or "opening it up" will not involve a complete meltdown in Wills relationship. On the other hand “Our Gladiator, who art in Adams, hallowed be thy abs.”; Pure gold! Thank you.

I sense a Mark Arbout trap... is it Finn? Of course I could be wrong, after all Mr Arbour is an honourable man....
-
Good god, isnt the bloke on the right ( brown hair) the very definition of wholesome? Initially I was going to say he looks like me 50 years ago, but I am not sure I ever looked that innocent....

Jeremy at 7:20 on a Saturday morning is just too much for this duck, especially when he has suddenly decided to be not only contrite but self aware.... wonders will never cease in Arbour-world (sounds a bit "Shondaland" doesnt it...) However, the Golden Gladiator getting rimmed by Austin "in his sleep".... that made the porridge go down very well! Thank you Mr Arbour for providing another great start to a weekend.

No doubt with just a splash of Jeremy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰

I thought the overabundance of commentary on Will/Travis needs a little rebalancing. The comment "jeremy is maturing nicely" simply has to be addressed. Jeremy is maturing.... like old cheddar; hard crust, bitey and salty. Compared to a good aged gorgonzola with a decent red..... J has a looong way to go, and in a different direction.

Someone more cynical about Jeremy than me! I am glad I am not alone out on this hitherto lonely limb...

I will admit that when I saw the byline (?) to this story, my heart did sink: more about that fatuous a'hole Jeremy. However (major concesssion) my doubts and concerns were completely unwarranted. I apologise for my inaccurate prejudgement! So Jeremy is here to help... and help some one other than himself.... should be interesting to see the "all about me" man discovering that we all need allies....

Waaaaaay too tame for our narcissit in chief. He'd have nipples, at the very least. His abs would be grotesque ( i like subtle abs...) and the groin bulge would be suggesting he's packin' ( even if its only a box of tissues)

Awesome comment, if I may say. Chuck IV.... Yo, Rey.... 🥰😘🫵 Mr Arbours stories and characters are amazing, his supporters and comentators just bloody marvellous. Thank you.

In summary, I think this chapter reminds us that should any of his characters have a period of bliss and calm, they will always be rewarded with pain and suffering. For our hero the pleasures and delights of Cardona's bed have been rewarded by time on a run down spanish frigate manned by cowards. Happy Easter!

You are so obviously not a boomer. 1,5 inches thick is what we did did for a first course!

Best thing about all comments so far: no one mentioned Jeremy's costume; he's going to be SO pissed!🤣🤣🤣🤣
