  1. Yes, all right, I confess...... ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜˜
  2. I didn't realise that my comment would start a "stud ladder" .... however... Sadly I have to admit my own "performance" doesn't come close to either Pickuptoy or Grainger.... sigh....
  3. May I make a comment on what others seem to have overlooked? Our beloved Grainger's STAMINA! The Swede, the Prussian and the Countess; multiple couplings with each over what seems to be very few days - and that's just the physical! He also copes with the emotional stresses of his own lovers comings and goings as well as those of his wife. He has also fathered the heir to a Russian Count.... Just to round things out he has his wife's jealousies! The man has the constitution of an ox and the libido of a Bonabo! No wonder we love and admire him! ๐Ÿ˜ Thanks!

    Travis was Raped

He's right; it's about power and sadly that era that industry seem to attract more than its share of "sex-as-powerplay" individuals. Travis being able to talk to Will about it show the sort of relationship Mark is developing between them. Impressive writing as ever. Thanks. The discussion regarding Colleges brought back memories. I too picked an "out of character" college (Hall in 'strine...) certainly did wonders for my reputation in terms of getting laid!
  5. YES!! I would like to hazard a guess that we are in for a Hindenburg-like episode in the not too distant future.... "Crash and burn" doesn't even begin to describe what I suspect will be a bloody good chapter. I promise, absolutely promise I will not say "I told you so".... (not out loud anyway... )

    Thor Comes Out

I used to think that and that my " coming out" to my parents was unusual, but now at my great age, I am finding that a healthy proportion of "comings out" are not the stereotypical disaster. Of course there are horror stories, usually a consequence of a fundamentalist religion. But equally there are occasions more like the very touching scene involving Thor. As for my own coming out; my mothers response was " well, that won't fix the photocopier!" which was what we were trying to do at the time.... Great writing. Thanks for allowing us on this journey.

    Sweet Suite

I decided I will write a post where I am not expressing anything negative about the train wreck that is Jeremy..... Nope.... no positive words come to mind.... I hope ( knowing it cannot happen in Arbour-world) that Thor's "coming out" will smooth and painless.... Love the writing... thanks.

    Chapter 3

With a little luck, we will avoid tears before bedtime..... tho' I suspect there may be a few ups and downs..... ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks

    Chapter 1

I take back my previous comment; I may have been less niaeve, but I was no where near that courageous! Really keen on next steps!

    Prologue

Interesting start. Eerie similarities to my own life and times! 79 I was almost as niaeve, just in "college" ( uni, in Australia) and instead of the Capitol steps, it was a beach an older bloke asked if he could " kiss what was in my speedos". While the answer was no, the reaction was similar to what you did after returning home! Looking forward to the developing saga!

    The Invitation

Somehow when one is that pretty, talent is optional!

    Threesome

I suppose when one has no talents, being skilled at dancing, frisbee or skating do seem out of reach.
  13. Alternatively he is part Jeremy and part Tallyrand....๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜˜
  14. Mr Arbour, how can I continue to truly despise a character when they go through a resurrection, the like of which hasn't been seen for a tad less than 2000 years? You are a puppeteer who manages to make your characters AND audience dance exactly the way you want them to..... I am still holding out for "real" Jeremy to explode forth. Probably unfashionable (with some anyway) but I do like Will's character. His thought processes, his way of managing his life and relationship. He seems "real"... almost human. Great read on this day where distraction is welcome! Thank you.

    Hook Ups

There are times where George's life rivals my own! ๐Ÿ˜

    Fucking Thor

So we are down to the tale of the two Jeremys. And I for one cannot wait for the real Jeremy (the can'o'beans in an open fire Jeremy) to explode all over those conned by the laid back drug addled space junky that is "nice" Jeremy. When that happens I will definitely need to find my Snoopy happy dance emoji. Meanwhile we have the Jack Hobart variation on straight middle age crisis. At the rate he is going he'll become Matt Gaetz's mentor. I sincerely hope Mr Arbour that you get inspiration for your characters from your vast imagination. If they are based on friends/family/acquaintances, my concern for your well being would increase substantially..... (but not enough to get you to stop writing about them....๐Ÿ˜‰) Thanks.

    Toxic Condo

Your campaign to turn my visceral * hatred is not subtle. I am not yet willing to even suggest that it may work, although Kris is a bloody good advocate*. I just hope you don't start writing for politicians; you'll have us all questioning our most staunchest beliefs... *yes, Australian/Canadians also have an education!

Is that a challenge? I am sure I could get him into a special ops unit somewhere on this planet.....

    Paris

Happy New Year! It is good when the world finally catches up to Australia (here as I type, it's morning tea time on Jan 2!) What a great way to start day 2 of 2025! While Graingers sea battles are always great to read, the political/diplomatic/intellectual battles are almost as strong as the descriptions of his physical exertions.... I look forward to "seeing" more of the blond swede... of course George's verbal sparring with First Consul will also be interesting albeit in a slightly different way (I assume.....). You have written a character that I find stimulating in so so many ways...๐Ÿ˜˜ Thank you again and all the very best for 2025

    Moving In

On a slightly more serious note, 21 minutes into 2025,I would like to very seriously thank Mark Arbour for allowing us to be part of the world's he has created. He has created endless entertainment, millions of laughs and a vehicle on which I can vent my frustrations! I am impressed by your talent and your toleration of those of us who cast aspersions on your characters. Thank you.

    Moving In

Some how when the answer to any question is "Jeremy", a red mist descends..... Oh! Well, the Catholics have hell, the ancient Greeks had Hades and the Sumerians had chickens with hot tar.... we have Jeremy....
  23. I thought JJ had come up with a new name for himself.....

Mr Arbour! You and I are going to have words! I am ALMOST coping with this vague plan that the miserable tosser gets back into sainted Will's favour (sainted may be going too far, but I am sure you get my drift) by capturing the definitely sainted Travis' stalker, but it only works if this involves one of your better twists where the miserable tosser screws up again and continues on his path to purgatory - it is Christmas after all.... I hope we understand each other...... Happy Hollies and all that! ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ‘
