  1. Good points, ricky! Lee seems unconcious of the game he plays with guys (assuming Jimmy and Billy are his only male experiences). I guess it doesn't matter, in some ways He's probably worse than AJ at using guys, it has to hurt more from sweet and silly Lee. Billy does seem a bit shallower these days, but this based on his journal, in which people become more blunt they appear normally. Billy is also still dealing with losing Brandon (seemingly for good), so maybe he's desperate to transfer those affections to someone else who he supposedly has mutual interest in. Whatever his rationalizations are, I've been waiting for that shoe to drop for awhile with Lee. Maybe Billy's email will make it come a bit faster. Probably not since Lee, like some guys, may prefer to avoid the issue, ignoring it until it "takes a hint" and goes away. I still feel bad for Bobby. Maybe he'll find someone who will return his feelings and not string him along.
  2. I wonder if Lee and Randall have any past sexual experience? Also, Its obvious that Lee is not interested in a relationship with a person of either gender, but why? I'm having a hard time figuring out what his game is, he dosen't seem like the "wolf" since he's oh so sweet and friendly to Billy, though that could be Billy's growing infatuation distorting things. The kiss list is getting interesting. I was hoping it was Jamie Cross, but wouldn't be surprised if it was Sam. Anyone have a guess as to who the mystery guy is?
  3. I guess that working at Gamestop is finally going to be useful. I think this is a hard question to answer because you have to consider the demographics that each console targets. Another thing to consider is that the selection of games and software are so different, giving you different experiences. Based on my prefrences, I'd go with the 360 (sorry Paul!), and the main reason being XBL and the titles on the 360. The PS3 has slightly better graphics and it has Blue-Ray and Free ( For now anyways) PSN, but I enjoy the experience on a 360 more, despite the risks. Titles and exclusitivity are still a factor when comparing systems. It was part of what kept people from buying them. A year ago. I would never buy a PS3 if it didn't have Mass Effect ie Halo 3. I think the bigger question is which is better for gaming: Desktops and Laptops - or Consoles?
  4. I'm confused, because Matt labeled himself as Bisexual during Bloodlines. He wasn't using sex with women as a cover either, unlike Wade.
  5. Genre: Informal Female = 2299 Male = 2311 Difference = 12; 50.13% Verdict: Weak MALE Weak emphasis could indicate European. Genre: Formal Female = 1388 Male = 1415 Difference = 27; 50.48% Verdict: Weak MALE Weak emphasis could indicate European.
  6. Chap 9: Brad's games are very irrational and while they make sense to the wounded and bleeding party, he's only going to push Robbie away more. Also I get that wealth people have their own perception of the value of money, but who buys a 20 year old the equivalent of home (You couldn't give him a BMW?)?? Men with boy-toys-I'm sorry RICH men with boy-toys. Brad servicing college guys and buying them expensive toys must be how he deals with his own mid-life crisis. It would be hypocritical now for him to make fun of the money Robbie spends on himself and Carson when he does spends his own money for similar reasons. I wonder if he'll figure it out? If this is similar to how you handle break-ups I almost feel bad for the guy who screwed you over
  7. Two Carmichaels in one chapter? I always wondered why Brad never tried to find out more about his biological family. This storys getting even more interesting with potential plotlines. Kevin possibly being related to the nutcase Reverend of Calgary is one thing, but him also possibly being related to Brad and getting screwed by him regularly would bring this story's drama to another level. Could you imagine what the reactions would be if Brad was screwing his nephew/cousin?
  8. What about Jeanine? Of the 3 of them she would be the most involved, especially she didn't grow up (I think) in the same affluent lifestyle that Brad did. I wonder how the rents coddling will affect the boys? We all know how JP and Isidore's parenting kept Billy being self-absorbed, Ace with anger-management issues, and Brad with God knows how many issues. Claire seems to have come out the most stable, but that may be due to her pregnancy and abortion affecting her for the better.
  9. I got Slytherin. I don't get why it's a bad thing to be ambitious, but Slytherins seem to have way more fun spell wise, using the full range of spells in my disposal. I would use all 3 unforgivable curses if the situation called for it. I like the control you get from the Imperiatus Curse. I would definitely want to make my own spells and it seems you have to be in the Ministry or a Death Eaters. I was kind of disappointed by the lack of creativity by Rowling with the spells. Not enough elemental spells. I still don't get how "love" is so powerful. Is hate in a spell just as powerful?
  10. Brad is playing a very risky game. I don't really know who to root for at this point, buy props to Brad for refraining from having sec with Max! His need to have Robbie take the initiative is a good plan but the whole Matt/Brad thing could screw things up. Then again, it's not like Matt's up for sale, right? Which means something stRts with Sergio/Kevin or get a new character in future chapter. Robbie's starting to remind me of Billy, who so self absorbed in his own world, he kinda took for granted the loved ones around him. Hopefully this could help him be more stable.
  11. Brad's family is starting to get irritating the way they pick corners and become all judgemental like they don't have skeletons in their closets (Iol). Matt is even more irritating this chapter, it's as if everything Robbie did for him in Bloodlines is negated because of Robbies poor choices. Maybe it's because He already has JP and Stef in his corner, but his complete disregard to his father is really sad. Robbie f**ked up, but at least he's been with one guy. He's loved and supported Matt when his parents rejected him and cut him off. I'm really starting to dislike him. I almost want him to f**k Brad because of the backlash he'll get from his brothers.
  12. I think Brian only used Whist to piss JP off. It would really funny if Amphion helped Stef avoid the dotcom burst. I'm gonna stick with Doug being the mastermind. When Millenium reaches the dotcom burst I hope Stef, Luke, and Brad take some big losses. Not only because it's realistic, but because of the strain it would have on the characters, especially Brad.
  13. How many guys did Brad have sex with that he pissed off? That's quite a list .
  14. Didn't Jake die because of AIDS during Man in Motion? EDIT: I think it's Doug Childers, though I thought he and Brad were on relatively good terms at the end of Be Rad. Amphion could also be using Brian as well since he's bitter and hates Brad. Stef's influence could of left Brian with little option but to join Amphion, especially with the intel he has on Stef's empire.
  15. LOL I only brougt it up because I was "slightly" dissapointed that it wasn't in Bloodlines. I mean... If you want to have a scene where Brad "interrupts" Matt and Wade going crazy on Sergio in their bedroom, it would only add to the sexual tension.
  16. Mark: It might be too late for that. Now that Matt realizes that he has a "connection" with Brad, I highly doubt that he would settle for anything less than having Brad f**k his brains out. Who knows, Wade may have to wait his turn for a seperate encounter if they were that into each other sexually...Matt wouldn't want his BF to feel like a third wheel .
  17. I hope Robbie comes to his senses in time...But in the mean time I think we are all going to enjoy Brad enjoying his time to slut out . A little off topic, but how awesome would it have been to have read about Matt and Wade going after Sergio?
  18. I agree with Ricky, even though Brad gave his consent for an open relationship, any sex they have with someone besides each other would still be considered an infidelity. Brad and Robbie are both flawed human beings, just like anyone else. It just seems like a cop out though when people use that as an excuse to rationalize their actions. If Robbie were to come to his senses and apologize I think Brad should try to forgive him, especially since Cody helped Brad understand why Robbie is doing this. Knowing Brad though, It's going to be a while before his pride and ego allows him to even consider it.
  19. JP and Stefan didn't know about Matt when they first encountered him. Brad knows Matt's Robbie's biological son, and Matt is well aware of who Brad is. If Brad's going to do it, fine, he will think all sorts of ways to justify it as massaging his wounded ego by screwing Matt, who has the whole hero worship thing for him. I'm not saying that won't make for a good round of incredible sex, because having someone that into you during sex would probably feel amazing. But, if Brad does this, he's pretty much pouring arsenic into whatever's left of his relationship with Robbie. JP and Stef can(and will) be pissed off at Matt for screwing Brad, even if their relationships on the rocks. If Matt weren't with Wade, he would start looking a bit like Jake. Wouldn't this go against their French standards for doing things for the good of the family? This could potentially split Brad's family as well as cause division in the rest of the Crampton clan.
  20. After reading Chapter 4 I don't know what to think about Matt. I hope he doesn't become a Brian or a Jake this time around. Brad might be having his own little crisis, maybe his lust for his step-son is his own way of feeling like he's still desireable after the whole thing with Robbie. Doesn't hurt that Matt has some major hero-worship going on (with Wade's encouragement). The immaturity of Brad and Robbie reminds me of how they use to be in Be Rad. Glad Cody could call Brad out on what he was doing.
  21. Brad had a horrible childhood, but he grew up in a more stable enviornment with far less problems in his adolescence than Robbie. Brad is flawed for quite a few reasons some of which he admits himself. In Be Rad he points out how he uses his money and his material possesions to make friends and be popular. Being apart of a privileged upbringing, especially under the parentage of JP and Isidore, made Brad insulated to the world around him. When you don't have to think about the price tag on material possesions it gives you a type of complaceny, making it easy to forget how complex life is outside of that bubble.
  22. If Brad and Robbie's relationship went under because he was messing around with Matt, I wonder who the family would side with. Brad may be JP's de-facto "successor" and have all this influence, but by their family's standards I'm pretty sure this crosses the line. Matt would, ironically, be the "brian" or more approriately the "Jake" who screws up established relationships. I'm sure his siblings would think of him like that, but I don't if the older generations would shun him or not. Either way this is all idle speculation that's making me even more curious about how this will be worked out! EDIT: Chap 4. was interesting. I almost forgot how slutty Matt and Wade are. If Brad were to have sex with Matt now, I think the family would be divided over whose corner to be at. If Robbie and Brad were to reconcile before Brad slept with him, it would be even more devastating and more people would be on Robbie's corner. I'm starting to have conflicting feelings about Matt. I know he's a horndog, and he's pissed at Robbie, but wouldn't he be more loyal? He's only a Hayes by blood, but I thought he's have more conflict over having sex with his dad's partner. Again, if you do this, I hope it's more than a one-night stand.
  23. Do you see this as a one time deal? Something big like this, with potentially dire consequences is more than a one time fling. They will either get caught by one of the children (likely J.J.) and/or Stef figures it out. Robbie catching them would make all hell break loose.
  24. I'm all caught up! It took me a week to read through the entire CAP Series, though its well worth it. Millennium is going to be a very pivotal book in the CAP Series for many characters. It's nice to back in Brad's head after Be Rad and Man in Motion, he is probably my favorite character to act as narrator. It sucks whats happening right now in his relationship with Robbie, but at the same time it's going to be great because He's so hurt and pissed off he's going to act like a slut again. I wonder who he pissed off in HS that would still gun for him now? After all this time Robbie still carries all his little insecurities, which has blown up thanks to his declining reputation, leading to his little mid-life crisis. He handled it poorly, so now that those two may revert to their HS selves, trying to hurt each other by sleeping with other men. Besides the potential Matt/Brad Wade/Brad Matt and Wade/Brad, I wonder if we'll be surprised by other couplings on future chapters. The Box threw me for a tailspin so I can't wait for whats next.
