"Hey Pete," Jason called from the living room. "We should get going soon or we're going to be late." Tugging at his shirt collar, Jason already knew he was going to regret wearing a suit and tie. Peter insisted, after he heard it was Royce's opinion, they should dress up. Arguing that the D.A. really wanted to talk to Peter, Jason tried to get out of wearing one. Why did they both need to be uncomfortable? In the end, however, he gave in to Peter's request they both dress up for the meeti

Ch 33: Taking It to the Skies
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Hamen Cheese's story chapter in Ch 33: Taking It to the Skies
Yes indeed that was a LOONG chapter, but it all fit, so hard to see how you would shorten it too much. Brian's love of Adam is a terrible kept secret I see. Sucks for him. Not sure knowing the bond Adam and Jacob share would change things. Too bad, personally I think Brian is smexy - he would get my vote for hottie of the month, but that might just be my over active imagination 'seeing' him as he is not - not please don't tell me his isn't all that and then some - don't Of course the prophecy could refer to Jacob, since the two are entwined so. Does Jacob know that they are linked in life and in death? Does he know that Ho-o said if one dies so does the other? Then again, the prophecy didn't say he had to give up his life, only that he will give his life, couldn't that mean devote his life to something? Or yet again, didn't Jacob, 'give his live' to Victor to save Adam. I say we vote you as King of Cliffs for 2011, we can end the voting know and hand you the tiara . Glad Monday isn't that far off -
Wow, getting awfully pushy about people reviewing aren't we? Just kidding. You write angst so well, its so clear what Blake is thinking, feeling, wanting. IDK, the meds seemed to help - or at least serve their purpose for a time. He is coping a bit better, so maybe now that he has a bit more confidence, he won't need them?? Haze is definitely hard to get a read on, although that just might be because we are trying to see and feel him through the messed up psyche of one Blake the Unnerved. Okay so what's next??

Chapter 40: Subpoenas
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 40: Subpoenas
Well the Court Battle i.e. the trial of Jordan Colmar - will not be part of this story. It will be handled as part of a short story to follow the conclusion of this. Figured it would be neater to end this first that way, even if the two don't make it as a couple, I can still handle the trial. Next chapter the boys will meet with the DA and testify before the Grand Jury. Thanks for the read and the comments Tim -
Chapter 40: Subpoenas
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 40: Subpoenas
Medical Records are covered by HIPPA regulations. The exception is that those records covering injuries sustained in a crime are discoverable, but only with court permission. The court is supposed to afford victims the right to object although the objections are limited to those areas that do not relate to the injuries from the crime. To avoid the issue, we usually get the records, redact out what is not discoverable and that's the end. If the defense requests, the court will look at the redacted information and determine if it should be turned over, but I haven't seen the court turn over stuff that is legitimately redacted. See work actually has some benefits other than a pay check now and then . Thanks for reading and commenting. Benji -
Saturday marks sixteen years Mike and I have been together. There have been ups and downs, but as I write this I have a rush of emotions that remind me how lucky I am. I was talking to someone about relationships, someone in their twenties who lamented they hadn't met anyone, had never been in love and how sad that made them. It got me thinking. I've been out for about half my life. I came out when I was twenty three. Had my first 'boyfriend' that year. I don't know how many dates I went on, or how many boyfriends I had, but I can think of three people I was serious about before Mike, two of whom I said I love you to. It has taken me many years to realize, but Mike is the only person I've ever really loved. Sad, sappy, silly, whatever, I can't imagine life without him. And yes, I plan to tell him that again - just as I have many times before [You don't think I am THAT stupid that I am going to let him get away did you?] Okay, enough cheese for a Thursday - I know some are gonna give me grief for this post but before you do, let me preempt you - oh never mind - go right ahead, it won't bother me, not today at least.

After being reminded by someone in Chat yesterday that today was Wednesday, I nearly forgot to post chapter 40 Chapter 40: Subpeonas Under ten chapters to go, time is running out for you to make your comments and have your say before I post the final chapter. Andy -
Sunlight peeked through the blinds when Jason woke. Still lying next to him, Peter appeared to be sleeping peacefully. There were no more yelling episodes, at least none he heard. Feeling the need to pee, he carefully got out of bed, hoping he didn't wake Peter up. Peter smiled as he slept so Jason decided not to disturb him by getting back in bed. His clothes, still in the same place he left them last night, were barely worn so he put them back on. Quiet as he could, he went into the ki

Chapter 38: For Richer or For Poorer
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 38: For Richer or For Poorer
Thanks for reading and for commenting. I will appreciate hearing feedback - especially nice stuff like this I have to say, as much as I enjoyed writing this, I will be glad when I am able to post the last chapter - hell glad to finish writing the last chapter lol - it sort of consumed me for a time but I am happy I did/am doing it. Thanks again. - Andy -
I could go with sappy and describe Mike, but truth be told when I met him - 16 years ago this week, I would not have said he was my 'ideal mate.' He didn't live in the same city as me, he didn't like baseball or soccer, didn't like sci-fi, was too preppy, was more artsy and less sports bar than me. In short he was not half the things I looked for in my ideal mate. But he was cute, so that got us talking. And he was fun to be around, [let you figure out what all that means], so that kept us talking, and he is sweet, smart, funny, caring, has a good heart, treats me with respect, is patient and overall just is a wonderful person, and that has kept us talking ever since. Over time we have learned to share some of the things the other liked, he now enjoys going to baseball games, he took me to a DC United v A.C. Milan friendly match for my birthday, I go antique shopping with him, or try to have something intelligent to say when we are discussing things for the house. He still isn't a romantic, but I have enough of that for both of us. So to steal a famous line from Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart who In 1964, tried to explain "hard-core" pornography, or what is obscene, by saying, "I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced . . . ut I know it when I see it . . " I couldn't tell you what my ideal mate would have, but I knew it when I saw it. Andy

Just figured I would let you all know I am hard at work finishing the last remaining chapters and to give you some thing to look forward to. I am writing chapter 45 now, and unlike the previous 44 chapters, this one, the next one and the last one will all contain what are for me at least - some rather vivid sex scenes. Hopefully they will not offend anyone, and even more hopefully people will like them. -
Just a few???? Too funny Soup - nasty, gross, and retina burning, but freaking funny nevertheless. Um now to make sure Mike does NOT buy me chocolate for V-day. One can never be too worried about one's weight it seems.

Nephy, I am suggestion nothing other than we all live in your shadow and aspire to the same heights as you achieve. As for world domination, I don't see how having you as an evil overlord could make things any worse, so I am all for giving you a 'second shot' [Has to make this semi relevant no?] Andy -

LOL now I feel stupid, I replied to Trevor, THAN read your review - doh! Well at least we think the same about the need for a pause to catch your breath chapter here and there. I know she will tut tut me but if you see improvement as I progress - thank Anyta, she has helped me enormously by pointing out what I should and shouldn't do and where to add more, write less etc. But thank you for telling me, I appreciate hearing it. - Andy -
Chapter 39: Back To Where It Began
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 39: Back To Where It Began
Being the voice of dissent is fine Trev. I expect it - I mean everyone can't like it all the time. I am left to wonder if you would feel differently if you were reading this start to finish with the chapter by chapter approach. I say that because - in my mind at least - this is the natural progression of things as it moves to the end. So if you could read to the end, would a chapter like this throw you off, or give you a moments pause. IDK - but thanks for telling me what you think,
